We have applied for planning permission to build an Annex / extension. We are inviting builders to view these plans and contact us with construction proposals and costs.
Full information and site viewing may be arranged by appointment.
The new Annex bridges the driveway between two existing stone buildings. It has 125m2 of living space.
The existing driveway continues under the stone archway. The annex accommodation is then constructed on one level.
The interior provides 2 en-suite bedrooms, cooking and living accommodation.
The annex roof will tie into the gite roof and also into the gable wall of the house.
It is anticipated that the annex construction will be partly a steel frame with concrete block and stone cladding. The roof will be covered in slate.
Existing solar panel systems will be extended in order to provide hot water and lighting.
The volume under the living area will be mainly excavated to provide storage and some covered parking.
The existing driveway will be extended and provide a loop arrangement to give vehicle access to the main entrance door.
There is a 3-4m difference in level between the drive under the arch and the drive where it passes the door.
